The plot follows mainly around Fuu, who is on a quest to find the Samurai that smells of Sunflowers. She\'s working at first in a tea house and is taunted by the rich governor\'s son. She enlists the aide of Mugen to help her defend herself, at which point a wild brawl breaks out with another newcomer Jin. Mugen is a wild swordsman while Jin is more traditional, but they are among the best and are trying to find those that can give them the best battles. They end up fighting instead and the tea house is destroyed. After a short stint in prison they head out on a quest to find the Samurai that smells of Sunflowers.
