Synopsis
The year 2071 AD. The future is now. Driven out of their terrestrial Eden, humanity chose the stars as the final frontier. With the section-by-section collapse of the former nations a mixed jumble of races and peoples came. They spread out to the stars, taking with them the now confused concepts of freedom, violence, illegality and love, where new rules and a new generation of outlaws came into being. Together with his partner, Jet Black, Spike Spiegel the bounty hunter flits from planet to planet in the spaceship Bebop. Hunting bountys that always seem to go awry, to fighting against their own pasts, the crew of the bebop continues on their quests.

Amazing series, it was really well done. The action scenes were great, makes me want to try some cool kung fu moves myself. Bounty hunters in space, I wonder if they could have caught the crew from Firefly? I wish they\'d make this into a live-action series, with something similar.
(Firefly worked, BRING IT BACK).

you know, i am not a manga fan, but i have to admit this series is really something, i really think that is the best i see in my life...:)
This is one of the anime & manga that I enjoy. The only real problem is when Spike dies at the end of the anime series. but otherwise a very well done anime.
Cowboy Bebop is my total favorite! I can probably say it got me into the whole anime thing. ((with my obsessed friends help of course)) I even got my brother into it now!
I totally love the movie. Who wouldn't? And I WILL THAT THAT CD! Im in love with the music from the show. Thats EXACTLY the kind of music I like! And Spike is kick arse! Ed is like my group of friends. *tear* Man I love this show!
i think that cowboy bebop is the best anime ever to come to america and for all the rest who disagree can suck a piece

absolutely excellent anime. the movie kicks too. i'm ordering the perfect sessions off amazon.
